Vitamin B12 is responsible for the correct carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism of the body. It also influences hematopoietic processes.

Iodine is essential for the production of thyroid hormones: thyroxine and triiodothyronine. Among others, proper functioning and development of the brain depend on the correct concentration of these hormones in the blood.
